Family: Lamiaceae (Labiate) Mint Family.

Description

Short / medium hairy creeping perennial, strongly smelling, runners long, leafy and not rooting. Leaves lanceolate dark green. Flowers in whorls Butter Yellow , lower lip usually streaked red brown. Flowers May June , usually in woods and hedge banks.
